The Lawrence Herbert School of Communication at Hofstra produces WRHU-FM, the school’s award-winning radio station. In 2017, the station received the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award for non-commercial station of the year. WRHU also earned a Marconi award in 2014, making it the first non-commercial station to receive two Marconi awards..
