HFC 48 Hour Film Contest
Event: 48 Hour Film Contest
Date/Time: 7pm October 21 – 7pm October 23
Location: Back of the Student Center
The 48 Hour Film Contest is an event sponsored through Hofstra’s Filmmakers’ Club that challenges its participants to make a film in 48 hours. Contestants will arrive at the meeting space (back of the student center) at 7pm on October 21, where they will be broken into groups and given a genre and a line to be used in their film, and sent on their way. The participants will be able to write and shoot whatever story they want within the confines of their given genre, and must write, shoot, and edit the film by no later than 7pm on October 23rd. The best film will be chosen to screen as part of HFC’s Film Festival at the Student Center Theater at the end of the semester! Its a great opportunity to get to know fellow filmmakers and be a part of the filmmaking process. Anyone is welcome to participate.
